Staff Nurse

Traning, Education and Professional Development

• Assist with training key members responsible for safety and quality
• Must participate in continuing education classes in order to grow professionally and maintain licensure and certification requirements
• Identifies individual and collective learning needs of nurses
• Helps the clinical instructor in arranging and organizing Nurses induction program
• Conducts demonstration, teaching sessions and training sessions for new orienteers and guide them with preceptors throughout the orientation period
• Participate in continuing nursing education program for nurses
• Organizes ward teaching programs
• Assists in formulation of policies and procedures and participates in implementations of policies
• Assists in organizing programs and conferences and arrange employees to participate in workshops, conferences and symposiums- local/state/national/international levels
• Plans and develops a training module for patient education related to clinical aspects
• Evaluates the effectiveness of instructional programs and make recommendations to Nurses Development
• Coordinate and discuss with Manager and CNO for program content revision
• Provides written performance reports or update at routine intervals for units/ward assigned.
• Evaluates effectiveness of patient education from feedback forms, internal customer feedback and incidence reports.
