Senior Structural Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Development of feasibility and design concepts.
• Produce detailed design information including calculations and design sketches for bridges, underpasses, rail structures.
• Provide technical lead on design tasks.
• Liaise with CAD/BIM Technician for production of drawings.
• Responsible to coordinate with the other disciplines to ensure there are no design gaps and provide fully coordinated design deliverables. This includes the support of the construction supervision teams.
• Perform quality control reviews of design calculations and drawings following policies and procedures.
• Participate in developing solutions to complex and challenging issues using engineering methodologies to define new procedures when needed.
• Having reasonable knowledge about life cycle cost analysis of underground structures.
• Able to monitor and track the design progress of the project.
• Carry out risk assessments and provision of design information for Health and Safety.
• Report writing and production of technical reports and documents.
