Senior/Lead Architect

Requirements

• Reviewing and designing architectural plans
  
• Controlling projects from start to finish to ensure high quality, innovative and functional design
  
• Using the construction brief to identify clients needs and put together feasibility reports and design proposals
  
• Developing architecture in line with client s needs, building s usage and environmental impact
  
• Produce detailed drawing packages and make any necessary corrections
  
• Compile project specifications and keep within operational budgets and timelines
  
• Make on site visits to check on project status and report on project
  
• Liaising with clients to ensure all issues are addressed in a timely manner, and that project requirements are met.
  
• Cooperate, liaise, and guide subcontractors and help interpret design specifications
  
• Follow architectural trends and advancements
  
• Ensure that all works are carried out to specific standards, building codes, guidelines and UAE regulations
  
• Networking and consulting with various industry professionals
  
• Monitoring the work of other Architects and making recommendations or scheduling workshops as required
  
• Acting as a mentor to new Architects and helping them fine-tune their design skills and improve their industry knowledge.
  
• Ensuring the team works together to achieve set goals and targets
  

• Bachelors or Master s Degree in Architecture
  
• A strong portfolio with a 10-15+ years of work experience as an Architect
  
• In-dept understanding of CAD, AutoCAD & ArchiCAD software is a MUST
  
• Knowledge of all phases of construction and project completion
  
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
  
• Excellent time management and resource programming
  
• Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards of the UAE
  
• Excellent drawing skills and familiarity with design and practice software (InDesign, Photoshop, MS Project/Itask)
  
• Strong imagination and the ability to think and create in three dimensions
  
• Visual awareness and an eye for detail
  
• Communication and project management skills
  
• Brilliant interpersonal and networking skills
  
• Detail-oriented and highly analytical
  
• Deadline-driven and dedicated to excellence
  
• High-end residential and hospitality experience would be an added bonus.
  
• Qualifications approved and attested by UAE Immigration.
