We are recruiting a Senior FPGA Team Leaderfor apermanent position with a national champion delivering high tech products for government.
Job responsibilities:
- Take on the responsibility for development and testing of complex VHDL/Verilog projects in FPGAs
- Proficiently drive projects from studies and simulations to implementation and testing, including documentation
- Actively contribute to innovative and efficient development processes to ensure our future success
- Support the evaluation and introduction of control boards and platforms
- Ensure customer satisfaction through sporadic troubleshooting and support of customer projects
- Designing, simulating, coding and verifying of software defined radio projects in FPGAs and DSPs for applications including localization, repeaters, jammers and signal detectors
- Developing and verifying of digital signal processing algorithms using MATLAB
- Carry out timing analysis of large high-speed FPGA designs
- Perform timing optimization of FPGA designs with excessive hand placement to achieve timing closure
- Working with RF test equipment. (Signal Generators, Spectrum Analyzers, Network Analyzers)
- Developing automatic tests for software defined radio devices.
Requirements
- B.Sc. or higher in Electronic Engineering or Computer Science or similar
- Proven track record in VHDL or Verilog programming
- Proficiency in the use of the following tools: MATLAB/Simulink, Xilinx ISE, Vivado, Altera/Intel Quartus, Modelsim
- 13+ years of relevant hands-on experience
