Senior Design Detailer

A new opportunity has come up for Furniture manufacturing based in DUBAI. Our client is looking for well-experienced design detailerto help them manage a design studio & showroom based in Dubai.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

Managing the draughtsman team & preparing the detailing joinery list.

Responsible for the preparation of all FF&E selections and documentation for the final project presentation

To monitor proper implementation of design on site

Manage and lead the Technical Department in the preparation of technical submittal (materials and Engineering drawings) and production orders

To check and review material submittal, shop drawing, and method statement before submitting for client approval

To check and review production order, fabrication drawing, value engineering, schedules, and quantity

To prepare, check and issue material requests per project requirements and priorities

Issue/Responding to RFIs, keeping the drawing register, submittal log, approvals, site instructions, and production orders

Responsible for completion of all drawings, attending design meetings with clients and consultants to clearing any design and technical issues

Requirements

To be considered for this role :

1. Should have 8 to 10 years of experience in Furniture/fixture joinery & fit out

2. Should be qualified CAD detailer / Auto-cad draughtsman

3. Degree /Diplofrom interior designing or relevant field

4.MS Office AutoCAD 3D Max V ray rendering Sketch up Photoshop

5. technically skilled in Furniture joinery design & Refurbishment

6. Willing to work flexible working hours.

7. Weekly one day off, which will be rotational
