ARENGY is an IT-Digital and Cybersecurity Recruitment and Consulting firm operating in the Middle East from UAE. Our customers are the most successful industry leaders executing projects around the globe. We are recruiting a RF DESIGN ENGINEER for a PERMANENT POSITION with an emerging leader on advanced Radio Frequency and Real-Time Telecommunication Systems for Security and Protection.
- General RF design and development work (0 - 9GHz).
- RF synthesizer work (0 12 GHz) (PN -100 to -122 dBc/Hz @ 6 GHz 10 kHz offset).
- Reference oscillator design (110 MHz PN -160 dBc/Hz 10 kHz offset).
- Discrete RF amplifiers.
- Product owner and designer of antenna switching units, this forms part of a larger DF system.
- Update project plan as development progresses.
- Product progress reporting and synchronization with product head / other departments.
- Liaise with suppliers and sub-contractors in terms of timely deliveries and product specifications.
- Testing of modules on bench level and in full system level.
- Writing of technical documentation regarding any module or product this includes ATP, TRR s, ECP s and work instructions.
- Simulation of circuits usually on RF sim or microwave office.
- Mil-spec testing, this includes temperature, shock and vibration, salt spray ext.
- Industrialization of products, this includes electronic designs, mechanical designs, software designs, third-party products.
- Updating software both test applications and firmware using VHDL and C++ and checking the changes back into SVN repository.
Requirements
- Implemented Altium Designer software package in the company to replace older PADS system.
- Implemented a quality assurance measure in the low-level PCB design phase.
- Improved the current QA standard for cable specification, in terms of measurement requirements.
B.Sc. in Electronic Engineering or similar 7-15 years work experience in product/system Engineering. Deep knowledge of RF systems. Electronic Warfare (EW) experience is a strong advantage Experience in designing and qualifying military electronic equipment is a strong advantage Knowledge on EMC/EMI design principles would be an advantage Knowledge of shelter or vehicle design experience would be an advantage Must be able to work in different groups and both take and give direction Self-motivated and an effective team player Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
