Job Description
Ability to select appropriate imaging agents and determine the radiation beam for each patient.
The ability to assist the radiologist in performing radiography examinations and follow his instructions.
The ability to discover film defects, whether from development or photography, and how to avoid them.
Good knowledge about using the X-ray machine in the correct way and not overloading the X-ray tube more than necessary.
Knowing how to use different x-ray devices according to their installation and operating mechanism.
Proficiency in identifying minor malfunctions in the device and repairing them quickly.
He must have skill in using films while packing them or emptying them from the film containers and not damaging the backing plates.
