Operations Manager - Waste Management

Black & Grey HR is recruiting for a diversified group of companies in the Middle East.Our client is looking to hire a operations Manager who will beresponsible for managing the execution of waste management operational activities related to service provision including sweeping, waste collection, cleaning services, special urban cleaning interventions, and other services as per the contract requirements.

-Manage the overall waste management operations, ensure provision of the services of cleaning & waste collection and related services in the project and ensure that the service is in align with the client requirements.

-Supervise and manage the regular reporting & internal communication between subordinate and concerned stakeholders to ensure a quality service

-Maintain cordial relationship with the Client and ensure client and public satisfaction in terms of the Waste Management services offered by the company.

-Ensure compliance to local and federal laws and companies policies & Procedures

-Design methods for work activities to increase efficiency and effectiveness in Waste Collection functions

-Review routes and collection processes, noting areas that require attention and incorporate these works into daily or weekly schedules

-Investigates delays in execution of operation plan and penalties and recommends corrective actions.

-Ensure all corrective actions assigned to staff arising from audits, incidents and HSE reviews are implemented on time

-Raises request for resources (manpower, Vehicle, Tools etc.,) whenever there occurs a shortage to the operational resources.

-Focus on Continual optimization of service quality & continual development of the skills of operation team by identifying the training needs.

Requirements

-Bachelor s Degree in any discipline, Engineering (Civil / Mechanical) degree will be a plus.

-Minimum of 10 years of experience in waste management projects

-Waste management specialist with experience in managing operations in similar service contracts

-Experience in delivery of waste collection contracts in the GCC region required

-Must be bi-lingual English and Arabic Language

-Internationally recognized Waste Management certifications will be a plus

-Certificate in Operations Management will be a plus

-Knowledge of waste management operations

-Knowledge of International Waste Management & recycling practices & concepts

-Knowledge of Fleet Maintenance & Management

-Planning & Budgeting knowledge
