Our customers are the most successful industry leaders executing projects around the globe. We are recruiting a New Product IntroductionLeadfor apermanent position with a national champion delivering high tech products for government.
We are looking for anEngineering Product Leadwith background in OEM and/or RF Electronics to join us in Abu Dhabi. Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will join our newly formed Operations organization in a key position being responsible for the line of multidisciplinary products by managing the hand over process from R&D to Production, and become instrumental in establishing a highly-efficient production operations function.
Job responsibilities:
- Responsibility for NPI Product Manager is to ensure the smooth running of the engineering process and documentation, configuration control, production support
- Lead product deliverables and timelines
- Responsible for NPI Processes of the company product lines
- Lead Sustain engineering processes and provide engineering support across the company (R&D, Operations, and product management)
- Responsible to identify and solve technical issues to enable fluent system manufacturing
- Own, start to end, the full production cycle (internal/external), process jigs/fixtures/testers (HW and SW), process validation, process yield, DFM and ECR/ECOs
- Ensure DFM - Design for Manufacturing guidelines are well implemented in the product design and validate implementation impact on product quality
- Build and maintain product engineering infrastructure, lead engineering changes, and product life-cycle management
- Matrix work with various internal departments and external subcontractors
Requirements
- BSc in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar
- Experience in leading DF x methodology
- Proven record in leading product integration and productization activities of 5+ years with deep Electrical knowledge
- Transfer products from development to production including products configuration control, BOMs definitions, DFM/DFT & PCBA Production
- Proven experience in leading engineering processes and sub-contractors engineering support
- Vast and proven experience in PLM Engineering Tools. PDM experience an advantage
- Deep knowledge in PCB and PCBA technologies
- Responsible for products documentation, production files, DFX processes, and ongoing engineering tasks
Other requirements:
- Knowledge of Electrical and mechanical manufacturing
- Experience in components obsolescence management
- Knowledge PDM, Oracle ERP advantage
- High Matrix management capabilities, ability to lead and motivate others
- High professional and technical skills, fast learning abilities
- Wide organizational vision and proactive approach
- Project/process management skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written skills in English
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
