- Ensuring that all equipment is in good working order and that all repairs are made promptly
- Coordinating with other departments such as facilities, human resources, accounting, and IT to ensure that all team members have what they need to do their jobs effectively
- Manage the budget for the department or company to ensure that it is being used appropriately
- Monitoring employee performance and providing feedback where necessary to promote growth and development
- Managing and training staff members so that they can perform their duties effectively
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the marina, including hiring staff members and maintaining facilities
- Maintaining records of all accounts receivable and payable, including customer account information and payments received
- Overseeing the hiring process for seasonal staff members
- Planning and coordinating events at the marina such as regattas and charity fundraisers
