Role Objective:
- Assist in the planning and management of Aircraft Allocations.
- Work with IOCC Operations staff to protect planned schedules and impact to operations.
- Monitor Technical Logs & ADD/MDD to identify major items and ensure Passenger Handling awareness.
- Review the Tech log pages daily, update Aircraft log folders and follow any missing TLP with Line Maintenance.
- Monitor disposition of aircraft spares, logistics and manpower for support of AOG aircraft directly from Duty Technical Specialist & to ensure Operations are informed.
- Support Line Engineers by working physically on a/c when required and support as flying engineer to support in outside stations.
- Monitor all aircraft defects and assist Line Engineers on analyzing/Rectification of defects and advise the necessary corrective actions.
ICAO approved AME License Type II with A320 CFM 56-5B /LEAP-1A (Preferably EASA/Oman CAA AME License)
- Minimum 5 Years Certifying Engineer (CRS) on A320 CFM 56-5B /LEAP 1A, Plus Minimum 4 Years working in MCC.
- Communication skills (Fluent English is mandatory and any other language shall be an added advantage)
- Proficient in use of Aircraft Maintenance Tracking Software, Analytical ability using IT platforms (Excel, Minitab) is a plus.
- Able to interface effectively with all levels of the Operational and Technical Staff in the organization.
- Able to self-sustained when face AOG and make necessary actions according to company policy, procedures, and guidelines.
