Responisbilities:
• Provide 2nd and 3rd level support. Troubleshoot infrastructure issues
• Provide technical expertise in the diagnosis and resolution of an issue
• Performing high level systems administration of on-prem and cloud infrastructure
• Ensure delivered solutions are handed off operationally with appropriate documentation (e.g. best practices, design documents, run books) required
• Provide high level expertise in OS support more specifically Windows and Red Hat Linux.
• 3 + years hands-on experience with AWS core infrastructure components including expert level experience with IAM, EC2, VPC, ELB, and RouteInstalling, maintaining and monitoring operating environments
• Manage incidents and requests across several disciplines (including, but not limited to) – Windows and Linux servers hosted on vSphere/ESXi and Cisco UCS/EMC or Dell storage
• Proactively monitor and resolve infrastructure service issues prior to escalation
• Liaise with managed hosting services to deliver first class services and vendor support
• Managing core operating systems and virtualization platforms including upgrades, configuration and patching
• Installing and configuring hardware and software components to ensure usability and security. Coordinating technology installations, upgrades, and maintenance
