Health and Safety Duty Officer

Responsibilities:

• Ensure full compliance with all aviation safety regulations, standards and procedures; SMS practices and OHS Manual and Policy as published by QACC, QR Group and regulatory agencies
• Plans and execute health and safety inspections and surveys, and conducts risk assessments in conjunction with business functions as necessary.
• Supports in the identification of hazards in the workplace, and develops control mechanisms (As Low as Reasonably Practicable - ALARP).
• Develops Tool-Box Talks (TBTs) topics and content on a monthly and ad hoc basis, and evaluates periodically the effectiveness in implementation.
