We are seeking a purchasing manager who has worked in the F&B industry or related, you will handle the company's procurement local and international activities.
The purchasing manager should be responsible for developing purchasing strategies, maintaining positive relationships with suppliers, coordinating with internal teams regarding their supply needs, and overseeing the purchasing group's daily activities.
You will be working on weekly / monthly forecasting, annual plan, new suppliers, and opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing purchasing strategies.
- Handling local & international suppliers.
- Managing daily purchasing activities, supervising staff, and allocating tasks.
- Managing supplier relations and negotiating contracts, prices, timelines, etc.
- Maintaining the supplier database, purchase records, and related documentation.
- Coordinating with inventory control to determine and manage inventory needs.
- Managing the maintenance of office/manufacturing equipment and machinery.
- Ensuring that all procured items meet the required quality standards and specifications.
- Preparing cost estimates and managing budgets.
- Working to improve purchasing systems and processes.
- Training new employees in the purchasing process and how to use the purchasing system.

Evaluate the performance of each staff and provide appropriate feedback.
Perform inventory control to avoid overstock and low stock.
Manage product storage and rotation activities to reduce spoilage and damage.
Ensure that grocery shelves are maintained clean and organized.
Ensure that shelves are loaded with fresh products at all times.
Ensure that all products are properly tagged and labeled.
Assist in recruiting and training staff on assigned responsibilities.
Assign daily workload and schedules to staff.
Set up product displays in store entrances and other sections according to merchandising standards.
Maintain the store clean, safe, and appealing.
Develop process improvements to maximize sales and profitability.
Educate staff about safety and sanitation procedures.
