Job Description

Job Purpose:

Manage day-to-day financial operation of a hospital, financial reporting and analysis, budgeting and forecasting. Directing investment activities, planning and operational cash management, and develop and implementing improvement of financial operational processes. Reports to the CFO.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and secure process and system support to deliver according to targets
  • Provide financial reports and interpret financial information while recommending further courses of action.
  • Advise on investment activities and provide strategies that the company should take
  • Maintain the financial health of the organization.
  • Analyze volume, revenue, costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans.
  • Complete monthly and year-end procedures including year-end postings and year-end reports.
  • Coordinate annual audit with external auditors and regulatory government entities.
  • Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
  • Manage the preparation of the company’s budget.
  • Liase with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.
  • Correspond with various other departments, discussing company plans and agreeing on future paths to be taken.


Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • A minimum of 10 years’ of experience in the finance and accounting field, with a minimum of 5 years in a similar position/responsibility, preferably in Healthcare Sector

Other competencies (skills, abilities, behavior)

  • Good English spoken & written, Arabic language advantageous/desirable, but not essential
  • Competent communication skills and good interpersonal skills
  • Multi-task oriented skills.
  • Computer literate.
  • Experience with statistical analysis and financial forecasting
  • Attention to detail and the ability to identify data patterns
  • Good verbal and writtencommunication skills
