Job Description
-Following up the patient’s nutritional assessment and food habits.
-Following up the estimation of patients’ needs according to each case individually and preparing dietary programs and guide lines.
-Carrying out required task related to profession.
-Sets annual goals and objectives for the Health and Nutrition Program
-Directs daily operations of nutrition programs and ensure patient and client satisfaction levels are met.
-Executes operating standards, implements quality improvements and communicates them to other departments; and collects and reports outcomes.
-Develops, reviews, and adapts therapeutic and modified diets to meet the needs of individual patients and/or clients in Kuwait hospital with health staff.
-Maintains records, prepare reports, and composes correspondence relative to the work.
-Develops policies, procedures, and standards for institution clinical nutrition programs.
-Provide expert knowledge on all medical nutrition programs and assist to resolve issues and provide feedback for same.
Skills
- 5 to 10 years hospital experience
- BSc degree in Nutrition & Dietetics from an accredited program or equivalent qualification
- AND Active member of a nutrition society or Association
- ANDCurrent MOH license.
- AND MSc degree in Nutrition & Dietetics from an accredited program or equivalent or master’s in healthcare field or management or administration field
