- Assists DIESEL MECHANIC in overhauling and maintaining diesel motors used to operate trucks, generators, and other equipment: Disassembles motor and cleans parts.
- Obtains parts from stock and hands tools to mechanic.
- Assists in reassembly, and cleans tools and working area.
