Data Governance Analyst

Data Governance Analyst within the Governance Unit will assist the Data Governance & Compliance Head in ensuring that all aspects of data management concerning entity data are compliant to the policies and standards developed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare reports for the Data Governance & Compliance Head concerning governance and compliance around the Company s data (QA reports, MDM / RDM issues, etc.)
  
• Work with the Data Governance & Compliance Head to oversee the implementation, progress, and operations of the various data governance projects
  
• Coordinate with the various Data Owners and Data Stewards across Company s to manage engagements and ensure compliance with polices and standards
  
• Draft & maintain policies and standards related to data and seek the Data Governance & Compliance Head approval
  
• Work with Data Owners to ensure business rules are embedded across the data organization (e.g., overall Catalog, ETLs, data model, etc.)
  
• Maintain a repository of SPOCs (Single Point of Contact) within departments and Companys concerning entity data

• Monitor organization, ensuring it is operating properly
  
• Track entity capabilities, providing plans to uplift skills when required.
  
  

Requirements

Qualification & Skills:

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Data Governance role

Preferred bachelors in in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics

Proven working experience in Data Governance

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Understanding of Data Management Standards

Experience in developing policies and standards

Strong knowledge about compliance mechanisms and tools
