Job Description

- Implement the Quality Policy, Safety Policy and Quality Objectives as required by the Quality Management System.
- Prepare and issue quality reports that document observations relative to compliance with the quality requirements for the services, material and/or equipment.
- Verify compliance and comprehension by reviewing with contractor, subcontractor, or supplier quality, their submittal of quality documents/records in accordance with the purchase order or contract requirements.
- Interfaces with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and internal groups regarding inspection concerns and frequency of visits to ensure that all inspection requirements are achieved.
- Verifies conformance of all contractor/subcontractor/supplier activities to codes, standards, job specifications and good engineering practices.
- Perform assigned inspections, surveys, audits and evaluations of contractor/subcontractor/supplier and provide detailed, written documentation of these activities using the approved format.
- Assist in the clearance of nonconformities requiring engineering disposition.
- Assist in the clearance of punch list items requiring re-inspection.
- Confirms product identification and traceability to the extent required by the project.
- Provide support of the contractor, subcontractor or supplier Quality Personnel to ensure that the contract quality requirements are strictly followed.
- Coordinate NDE or PMI efforts of contractor(s), subcontractor(s) and/or supplier(s).
- May be required to participate in mechanical turn-over inspections and/or assist other disciplines with project close-out activities.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
