Clinical Research Associate

Research Coordination/Study visit: Actively participates in clinical trial recruitment by evaluating potential participants with study team; schedules all study visits; acts as lead point of contact for all study visits; coordinates study visits based on other study team members schedules; collaborates with research pharmacy and other USF vendors for completion of study objectives.
Data collection: Responsible for collection of study data throughout the study patient's time in the trial; ensures proper documentation of study data by PI/Sub-I and other study staff; Creates data source documentation; Analyzes data for trends to protect patient safety; Enters data or reviews data entry performed by assistant staff to ensure accuracy.
Data monitoring: coordinates with sponsor representative for on-site study data review; Ensures data is in compliance with Federal, state and university regulations; Reports deviations or events of interest to the IRB; Addresses data queries in a timely manner.
