Chief Specialist- Transportation

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Identify various global transportation planning trends, policies and business models and conduct studies that can contribute to advancing Dubai transportation system and prepare terms of reference and manage studies that need to be done by external consultants.
• Participate in developing and evaluating different multimodal transportation plans and scenarios considering economic and urban growth trends and forecasts, Dubai government directions and client’s strategies and goals.
• Conduct international benchmarking and studies related to different transportation planning and policy issues and develop and present solutions as needed
• Study and identify impacts of different transportation policies and travel demand management measures on Dubai transportation system and Conduct international benchmarking and studies in order to establish robust methodologies and tools which can be used to assess the impacts of different types of transportation scenarios and policies in Dubai context
• Conduct specialized studies and prepare technical reports/presentations on different issues related to the planning of transportation system in Dubai and transportation policies which can be implemented in Dubai to achieve a better management of the travel demand within the emirate and between it and the neighboring emirates.
