Job Description

- Formulating a marketing plan for each event, including creating a budget and hiring staff to help execute the campaign
- Coordinating with vendors such as caterers, florists, event planners, and other suppliers to ensure that event details are met
- Developing a site plan for each event, including where speakers or musical acts will be located and where food and drink stations will be located
- Managing a team of event staff, including planners, production workers, security guards, and ushers for major events such as concerts or sporting events
- Creating a social media strategy to promote events through online channels such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram
