BIM COORDINATOR

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordinates the process of generating and managing digital models of places; building information models are virtual files that help with decision-making during the building process
• Review of 3D Models
• Conduct clash detection and visual walkthroughs using NavisWorks
• Manage Audit and review models in Autodesk Revit
• Hold weekly coordination meetings with project team members
• Early design review and constructability analysis
• Manage / Update BIM Project Documents
• 3D Model Quantity Extraction / Verification
• 4D Scheduling / Simulation using Autodesk NavisWorks
  

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

• 3D modeling and graphic imaging software (Autodesk, 3D Slash, Cinema 4D, Adobe, Corel, etc.)
• Computer-aided design software (Microsoft Visio, Visual Architect, TurboCAD, etc.)
• Office software (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Knowledge of Autodesk Revit, NavisWorks & AutoCAD
• Advanced PC skills, specifically Microsoft Windows Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint)
• BIM knowledge and interest in working with Architectural and construction firms

EDUCATION AND TRAINING:

• Bachelor's / Master's degree in Civil Engineering / Architecture
