Analytics & Data Science Head

Purpose of the Job:

Analytics & Data Science Head leads the analytics and data science section and overlooks analytics use case and KPI development, visualization and artificial intelligence and machine learning initiatives for the Company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the analytics and data science section operations
  
• Collaborate with other teams of the company to consolidate efforts on data analytics and data science activities
  
• Lead the formulation of use cases and KPIs
  
• Provide final approval on data dashboards and visualizations
  
• Perform review of data models and pipelines built to ensure they serve the intended purpose outlined in the analytics agenda
  
• Assist in formulating the Company s Data Strategy and drive the definition of the underlying analytics strategy and roadmap
  
• Overlook the implementation of artificial intelligence and machine learning initiatives
  
• Discuss and seek approval from the Director of Value Realization Data Department on all analytics and data science strategic topics
  
• Facilitate the collaboration between his department and others
  
• Cover the role of the analytics champion
  
• Review and approve Business, Functional and Technical requirement documents (BRD, FRDs, and TRDs)
  
• Perform review on the outcome of business intelligence data analysis, including revenue analysis, sales analysis, market information analysis, or analysis of other customer engagement metrics of a business
  
• Suggest and assist in the development of program tools and data models to help visualize or monitor data if needed
  
• Understand business requirements of the entity in the BI context and work closely with the Data Visualization Engineers to design data models to transform raw data into meaningful insights
  

Requirements

Qualification & Skills

• Between 6 to 10 years of experience as an Analytics Senior Leader, with proven know-how in leading major Data transformation programs
  
• Relevant degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field; graduate degree in Data Science or another quantitative field is preferred
  
• Strong managerial and communication skills
  
• Experience using business intelligence tools and data frameworks
  
• Analytical mindset and business acumen
  
• Good knowledge and understanding of different technologies (Azure, AWS, SAP) and how they co-exist in order to create a Business Intelligence Platform
  
• Strong value realization, collaboration, communication, negotiation, influence and strategic vision skills
