Black & Grey HR is recruiting for one of the leading developers in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Our Client is looking to hire an Accountant(Finance) who will work closely with members of the finance department and the finance manager to process transactions on a daily basis. The accountant will also be in charge of the general ledger, accounts payable, and the analysis of operators and subsidiaries finances.
- Preparing and entering accounting transactions, including payments, in the appropriate accounting modules (suppliers invoices, customers invoices, employee reimbursement and travel claims, petty cash, LPO/contract, and supporting documents), as well as carrying out three-way matches as directed by the direct line manager
- Preparation of bank reconciliations, supplier, and customer reconciliations
- Participation in the periodic physical count of fixed assets.
- Significant participation in monthly closure activities to reach the deadline
- Create or produce the relevant financial reports upon the direct line managers requests
- Assist internal and external auditors as needed and cooperate with them
- Ensure that all business policies and processes, IFRS, UAE laws and regulations, and identification and reporting of deviations to the direct line manager are understood and followed
- Ensure that all concerned parties receive prompt, high-quality services.participation in projects relating to special finances and initiatives for process improvement
- Participation in projects relating to special finances and initiatives for process improvement;
- Any additional task or responsibility that the direct manager or FD assigns.
Requirements
- A bachelors degree in accounting or a related subject is necessary.
- Prior experience in the real estate advisory/consultancy, developer, or hospitality industries is preferred.
- Prior GCC experience is advantageous.
- More than 5 years of accounting expertise, including knowledge of bookkeeping and financial statement preparation.
- Expert Oracle and MS Office user, notably in Excel
- Excellent organizational abilities
