We have an opportunity for a System Engineer I for our Performance Materials and Technologies Team in Kuwait.
System Engineer I Responsibilities
• Ensure that required prerequisites (e.g. design inputs, tools, and documentation) are in place prior to commencing work.
• Produce part(s) of total functional design specifications under supervision. Produces technical design specifications under supervision.
• Execute technical work assignments to appropriate standards and quality systems.
• Execute Test work assignments to appropriate standards and quality systems.
• Execute Documentation work assignments to appropriate standards and quality systems.
• Pro-actively looks to build cross discipline experience and increase knowledge through working with other engineers.
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Control & Instrumentation, Communications or Electrical Engineering
• 2 to 4 years of engineering and project execution experience with a good DCS company.
• Domain skills in Refining, Oil and Gas, Chemical Industry or Power.
• Should be able to interpret customer specifications to develop SAMA drawings for closed loop controls and Boolean logic for Open loop.
• Should be able to interact with customer operations group to develop face plates and operations graphics
• Must have a good knowledge of how DCS/ESD interfaces with field instruments and control valves and switch gear.
