Job Description

Responsibilities:
• Manage policy projects on a host of issues affecting Google’s Consumer product areas, including privacy, content, and cross-industry relations.
• Engage with industry players and key opinion formers to shape policy dialogue around responsible technology and the beneficial impact it can contribute to society and economy.
• Work with Product, Business, and Engineering teams and the regional policy teams in Emerging Markets to advise on the policy and political implications of product development in Google’s Knowledge and Information product areas.
• Lead public policy strategy for Emerging Market region for Google’s Consumer product areas, including working with cross-functional teams to support our global business objectives and drive policy and regulatory outcomes.
• Work within a global team to develop public policy strategies and positions for Google’s Consumer products, including the creation of materials supporting advocacy on those positions.
