• Create operational plans and quality/compliance tracking mechanisms that measure overall health of the MENA program
• Manage relationships with immigration providers, monitor performance and lead improvement initiatives to ensure a frustration-free experience for Amazon employees/candidates in MENA
• Benchmark program against similarly situated companies through industry advocacy orgs
• Operationalize new regulations and policies, developing impact analysis, new SOPs, technology solutions and proposed resourcing plans
• Draft program-level business strategy papers and business review updates for presentation in internal leader forums
• Continually identify areas of redundancy or no-value add to ensure process and staffing optimization
• Single threaded leader accountable for Amazon’s MENA immigration program, directly managing a team of regional Immigration Specialists and Program Managers
• Travel as needed to Amazon MENA locations to meet with local stakeholders and partners
• Work with senior leadership within the Immigration Team, Legal, Public Policy and PR to review and understand impact of immigration changes and develop optimized processes or filing strategies as needed
• Review and audit existing processes to ensure ongoing compliance and work with the process teams to continuously improve and adapt processes
• Create, develop and maintain a pipeline of candidates for the team, internally or externally, to minimize hiring lead times
• Employ strong pan-MENA immigration experience to identify trends and develop targeted program-level goals and initiatives
• Manage and report on team member performance, plan and guide career development
• Set program-level strategy across all MENA work streams, including business advisory management, content, case filing, service offering and compliance strategies
