Education Coordinator

Our client, a Rehabilitation facility in Abu Dhabi is urgently looking for Education Coordinator. In this role, you will have the following responsibilities:

• To make organizational plans and submit them on schedule to the Director
  
• To place the safety, security and general welfare of one’s respective students, staff members and colleagues on top on one’s priorities
  
• To behave and mingle socially in a manner that is generally acceptable in educational settings and for one’s managerial position
  
• To show evidence of effort of improving one’s performance, attitude and behaviour
  
• To be at one’s workplace promptly and regularly as well as to work beyond regular schedule whenever necessary
  
• To actively engage in management and organizational meetings
  
• To ensure that daily operation of teaching staff is carried out efficiently, promptly and effectively
  
• To monitor the teaching staff’s attendance to work and to ensure that absences are well covered efficiently by other staff members
  
• To appropriately respond to parents’ inquiries, complaints and suggestions
  
• To evaluate the performance and attitude of the teachers and learning support staff and find ways of improving and maintaining the satisfactory performance and appropriate attitude.
  
• To impose one’s administrative jurisdiction over the teaching staff members e.g. attendance, performance of duties and compliance to the Centre’s policies, rules and regulations
  
• To respond immediately and appropriately to issues, challenges and problems that arise from staff, parents and students’ wrong practices and inappropriate behaviour and attitude
  
• To interview applicants along with the Director for the purpose of determining their suitability for vacant positions
  

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you need to meet the following criteria:

• Bachelors degree in Special Education, Psychology, or related field; Masters would be an advantage (Attested by MOFA)
  
• Minimum three-year experience working with Special Educators and children with determination in a special needs centre environment
  
• Ability to work collaboratively with parents, staff, and multi-disciplinary teams
  
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications
  
• Must have excellent management skills, communication and writing skill in English (Native English is required)
  
• With a Certificate of Equivalency from MOE UAE is preferred
  
• Willing to move or relocate to Abu Dhabi UAE
