Staff Nurse - Urgent Care

Our client, a semi-government medical facility in Abu Dhabi is urgently looking for Staff Nurses in Urgent Care Department. In this role, you will have the following responsibilities:

• Responsible in the provision of quality nursing care by maintaining accurate records in the EMR and in the maintenance of professional standards through continuing education and development.
  
• Responsible for the orientation and induction training of new, junior Registered Nurses and Practical Nurses.
  
• Accountable for ensuring all services rendered are consistent with their education and assessed competence, meet legislative requirements and are supported by appropriate standards.
  
• Provides age appropriate patient care according to the Nursing Scope of Practice as defined by DoH.
  
• Understands, supports and promotes the mission, vision and values of organization.
  
• To perform and document patient assessment which incorporates all available data.
  
• To use nursing knowledge and clinical expertise in performing physical examination and patient assessment.
  
• To identify from assessment, actual and potential problems in collaboration with patient and family.
  
• To appropriately escalate identified concerns according to the level of urgency.
  
• Uses evidence based practice in the provision of care.
  
• To plan, document and discuss nursing care plan with the patient and family using the nursing process and priorities of nursing care.
  
• To continually update the nursing care plan as patient status demands.
  
• To commence discharge planning as soon as it is feasible in collaboration with the patient, family and significant others.
  

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you need to meet the following criteria:

• Must be a degree holder in nursing
  
• With valid license from home country
  
• With valid BLS license
  
• Eligible to work in Abu Dhabi; having HAAD/DHA or other license may be considered as long it can be transferred to DOH/HAAD
  
• Preferably candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in Urgent Care
  
• Willing to work in Abu Dhabi
  
• willing to work for 48 hours in one week
