ITP Media is looking for an ambitious and talented Key Account Manager to join the Luxury & Design Group to be part of the commercial team representing Young Women’s Lifestyle titles with a focus on Cosmopolitan Middle East. This is a fundamental position that will drive brand opportunities and revenue generation.

The ideal candidate will have robust experience selling print, digital and social media solutions with a consultative approach in account management. Projects will span traditional media buys however a primary focus of the role will be to ideate and present new creative ideas and innovative projects to brands in order to drive revenue. The candidate should have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills in addition to a passion for selling unique executions. This client focused role requires a candidate who is both fluent in and passionate about all current and emerging social media platforms, with an understanding of key features and how they can be utilised for commercial partnerships.

The Key Account Manager is responsible for onboarding and managing the commercial revenue for a determined portion of client accounts that will be segmented by the Key Account Director. They will be the lead point of contact for all key client matters pertaining to commercial projects, anticipate the clients needs, work within ITP Media and across the various departments to ensure deadlines for the client are met, and help the client succeed.

The type of candidate who will be successful in this role is someone who understands native content propositions and digital media and is creative in their thinking and delivery. A great communicator, networker and negotiator who is commercially aware and driven by financial success.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • To strategically contribute to the sales & commercial content strategy across all Cosmopolitan Middle East platforms
  • To sell display advertising space, creative and content solutions and digital/social media along with any other commercial partnerships to a target list of brands and companies
  • To oversee and manage the execution of digital campaigns from an advertising point of view
  • To keep abreast of market and platform updates, specifically across social media in order to drive maximum commercial opportunities
  • To work with the Key Account Director and Brand Director to develop relationships with direct clients, agencies and media buyers
  • To fully embrace and understand the content pillars behind Cosmopolitan Middle East and communicate the editorial strategy to clients and agencies
  • To respect the editorial integrity and international guidelines of the brand when selling commercial solutions to clients
  • To understand and work within the commercial realities of publishing in the Middle East and the pressures of the current climate
  • Network with our target clients from Media manager through to CEO to make them aware of who we are, what we do and raise each of the brands’ profiles

Skills & Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate should be an experienced Key Account Manager with at least 3 years proven experience across luxury lifestyle focused media. Crucially, they must be flexible and have a can-do, positive attitude which shows they are respectful, responsible and dedicated, and by default demonstrate passion, brand understanding and leadership.
  • We are looking for someone who is dynamic, proactive, and tenacious and likes to work in a multicultural environment. An individual who is accountable, socially smart and extremely organised, someone who uses their own initiative and loves to communicate and work as part of a team.

Additional information

  • Candidates should appreciate that most of the work is Dubai based however travel around the region may be required.
