Physiotherapist

Our client, one of the leading government Rehabilitation Hospitals is currently looking for Physiotherapist for their Long-Term Care unit to be based in Abu Dhabi. In this role, you will be responsible for:

• The assessment of required care and the development, implementation, and evaluation of holistic care for paediatric patients.
• Communicating effectively at all levels within the interdisciplinary team
• Promoting a progressive attitude to the continual improvement of patient care through research, evidence-based practice and the developmental of additional clinical skills in the specialty.
• Assisting in the safe, effective, and efficient management of the department with allocated resources.
• Promoting good health and well–being through education.
• Understanding, supporting, and promoting the mission, vision and values of the facility
• Adhering to and promoting the Professional Code of Conduct for Abu Dhabi and home country

Requirements

The Ideal Candidate would have:

• Bachelor of Science or Diploma in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution with a minimum of 3 years’ duration required.
• Valid HAAD/DHA License or eligibility for HAAD Licensing required.
• BLS is mandatory, PALS and ACLS preferred.
• Minimum of three (3) years’ PT experience required in ICU, long-term care, outpatient, and inpatient pediatric and adult field.
• Previous experience with long-term care patients, especially different forms of ventilation, immobility and enteral nutrition preferred.
• English fluency required; Arabic skills is an advantage.
• Willing to be based in Abu Dhabi
