Warehouse Store Keeper

Job Description

Storage • Store and maintain materials in the warehouse; • Arrange materials in organized manner in stores for easy retrieval • Monitor movement of goods to and from the warehouse. • Maintain clear and organized inventory records, to ensure all reports and invoices are filed and stored properly. • Wastage control and transfer in & out of goods. Adhere to all Health and Safety procedures particularly relating to food and beverage items. Complete requisition forms for inventory and supplies. Extend all requisitions on a daily basis and update the inventory management software/system. • Verify and track received inventory and complete inventory reports and logs. Deliveries • Co-ordinate routine deliveries with concerned divisions; • Ensure compliance with documentation requirements prior to executing deliveries; • Ensuring all deliveries are accounted for to appropriate accounts. • Troubleshoot any vendor delivery issues and oversee/follow up on the return process. Receipts • Checking of receipts against documents; • Ensuring issue of GRNs; • Notification of discrepancies to concerned divisions including sales and accounts; • Identification of damaged goods and preparing it for survey by insurance agents. Maintenance • Ensuring warehouses and office areas are kept clean and organized at all times; • Ensuring that the Fire Alarm system is operational; Ensuring there are no fire/safety hazards at the premises.
