Supervisor –Workshop

Job Description

To design and monitor the quality, safety, and efficiency of control systems in the workshop. This involves troubleshooting products or processes that need to be improved, determining costs of labor and materials to carry out these improvements, and ensuring that processes are compliant with regulations. Key Responsibility Areas • Procurements process improvements. • Responsible to provide weekly, Monthly, yearly cost analysis reports. • Good knowledges of maintenance related to Trucks & reefers. • Good uses of current resources and cost efficiency. • Responsible and accountable to analyze downtime of assets and ensure their optimal utilization. • Responsible and accountable to implement process improvements to increase the efficiency and costs of processes. • Responsible and accountable to work out the costs of labor, equipment, and materials required for any suggested process improvements. • Responsible and accountable for solving problems, find solutions for increased fleet utilization. • Responsible and accountable for ensuring workshop adheres to all company rules and regulations. • Supervise the staff who’s under workshop.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. • Strong Analytical skills to effectively analyze data sets to draw conclusions and make the right evaluations of procedures • Strong Problem-solving abilities to identify problems before or as they occur, such as safety issues and problems related to the manufacturing • Strong Interpersonal skills to develop good relationships with colleagues to work successfully on projects and develop production processes • Detail oriented in order to spot inaccuracies and faults, and find solutions to them. Education Graduate Engineer / Polytechnic in Automobile or Mechanical Experience 7-10 years of relevant experience
