• Ensure day-to-day work is performed effectively, efficiently, and safely in order to, enhance plant reliability/integrity, and promote safety & compliance to environmental standards. • Develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementation • Monitor equipment and machinery shutdowns and manage maintenance activities as needed. • Supervise field, machinery and workshop maintenance technicians. • Submit daily progress reports and highlight any pending issues or problems that need high-level intervention. • Develop and control the schedule and program for maintenance activities. • Ensure all maintenance records are up to date and as per the OEM requirements. • Ensure maintenance records are securely stored for future handover to the client. • Handle plant maintenance problems to ensure that work meets the required quality standards. • Provide the necessary support to the respective O&M team member before/after daily meetings to ensure high level of safety performance and comply with health, safety and environmental standards. • Ensure all mechanical systems support stable plant and unit operation and plant readiness. • Assist as required during the performance testing and reliability testing periods • Security and safekeeping of buildings and rooms containing mechanical system equipment • Security of all stored temporarily removed and spare parts associated with mechanical system equipment • Responsible authority for all mechanical system permit to work (PTW) and lock-out tag-out (LOTO) coordination on a daily basis
• Understanding of combined-cycle power systems; boiler, turbine, pump, valve, functions and interrelationships • Understanding of combined-cycle instrumentation and control functions and interrelationships with all plant processes • Extensive working experience with HRSGs, turbines, and various other power plant equipment. • Computer literate with Microsoft and various software applications • Ability to review and understand multi-discipline (mechanical, electrical, control systems, etc.) drawings and documents • Ability to review and understand OEM supplier drawings and information • Excellent written and spoken English language skills
