Senior Maintenance Technician - Mechanical (Oil & Gas)

Job Description

The role will be handling the preventive maintenance task and also improvement task for the equipment performance and maintaining infrastructure in the Terminal. Assists with projects including inspection, expansion, and modification. Key Tasks and Responsibilities Apply the approved standards, procedures, and schedules to ensure the reliability and integrity of the plant equipment and systems in the allocated area. Direct the development of specific procedures, work instructions, repair plans, inspection, and testing schedules, and ensure compliance. Implement the developed scheduled maintenance on relevant equipment and ensure all work history and data are entered into the CMMS system. Responsible for providing quality construction work on mechanical equipment, ensuring correct equipment installation, testing, and proper specification and selection, Maintain standard departmental shop floor discipline to ensure equipment functionality is available, ensure all instruments are calibrated to traceable international standard Maintain relevant manual, records, and reports for the equipment Contribute to site safety and participate in safety campaign Supervise work schedules for contractors, day-to-day man activities, performance review, and support manpower according to planning. Familiar with API and ASME standards and provide professional expertise for repair, new, and expansion projects from the design stage through procurement, construction, commission, and handover for operations. Familiar with NFPA standards and UAE Fire & Life Safety Code for maintaining Firefighting System including Fire Pumps, Ring Main, Foam Monitors, Foam Vessels, and Deluge System Experience in Mechanical field and knowledge for Berths/Jetties Structural wise Experience and knowledge of Oil terminal equipment including rotating equipment, Quick Release Hooks, Marine Loading Arms, Matrix Manifold, Pipelines, Gantry Cranes, Typical equipment that requires periodic maintenance includes but is not limited to the following: o Marine Loading Arms. o Foam Skids and Foam Monitors. o Cargo Stripping Pumps, Fire Pumps including Jockey Pumps. o Nitrogen Plant including Air Compressors. o Oily Water Separator units. o MOVs & Manual Valves maintenance & integrity test. o Gangways Towers.

Desired Candidate Profile

Require a Minimum of 10 years of maintenance experience in Oil & Gas Port Terminals. A qualified professional in one of the Technical trades Middle East experience and working within a multi-national team environment will be an advantage.
