A property manager oversees a rental property and manages the administrative duties associated with marketing the location, negotiating leases and maintaining the property. A property manager is responsible for establishing the appropriate rental rate for the area, collecting rent and managing the property’s budget to make sure that it’s profitable. The manager will also contract maintenance and landscaping services and schedule repairs and routine care.
