Adjunct Faculty Position in Petroleum EngineeringDepartment of Chemical and Petroleum Engineering The Department of Chemical and Petroleum Engineering at American University of Ras Al Khaimah (AURAK) invites applications for anAdjunct position in Petroleum Engineeringprogram,beginning Spring 2021.Candidates are expected to have Ph.D. degree in Petroleum Engineering and demonstrate potential for excellence in teaching. English is the language of instruction and communication. Screening of applications starts immediately and will continue until the position will be filled. The successful candidate is expected to teach the following courses: Mechanic of Material and Reservoir Rock and Fluid Properties.
Required Qualifications:

• Ph.D. degree in Petroleum Engineering from an accredited institution of higher education

• University teaching experience

• Effective communication skills

• Excellent English oral and written communication skills

• Commitment to excellence in teaching, including the use of high-impact educational practices

• Ability and willingness to work collaboratively with faculty from a variety of disciplines

• Familiarity with ABET accreditation requirements
