Role Description:
we are seeking a talented user experience designer with experience and a passion for creating customer-facing internet product designs. The candidate will fit into our Product Team. Has demonstrated success translating business goals into inspiring creative designs. Starts with the customer in mind, understanding that consistency & detail are critical in the design of a successful online experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conceptual design, layout, and graphic production for the B2C product.
• Interface with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new and revised creatives for web-based/mobile initiatives.
• Evolve site look and feel, navigation and layout, ensuring the layout of the content is logical and accessible.
• Continually evaluate/monitor industry best practices & enhance the experience in order to guide its advancement.
• Partner with Operations & Technology team to gather business changes and challenges and proactively develop and implement new or revised designs.
• Manage online marketing creatives/assets and implement new design processes.
• Assist in design for offline marketing creative & branding initiatives.
Desired Skills and Experience Competencies:
• A portfolio that demonstrates your ability to turn ideas into a customer-oriented product design.
• Bachelor's degree in design or related field.
• Strong knowledge of digital imaging and illustration with the Adobe Suite of software (i.e. Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver) and Flash.
• Strong knowledge of current web design trends and user-centered techniques.
• Knowledge and experience with cross-browser and cross-platform design issues (IE, Firefox, Safari, etc).
