ITP Media Group (ITP) is one of the largest media companies in the Middle East, with a portfolio of more than 80 brands. The company delivers quality up to date content to its readers, viewers, delegates and guests through digital, print, events, conferences, awards, video content, social media platforms and social media influencers. These brands include major international and regional names such as Time Out, Arabian Business, Harper s Bazaar, Construction Week, Esquire and GQ.


The Customer Solutions division of ITP is ITP Media s Customer Publishing arm, and the role involves selling sponsorship across a range of new and diverse events, ranging in size and scale.


The ideal candidate is an entrepreneurial, proactive sales person with 3+ years international or GCC Media sales experience with contacts across multiple industries inclusive of advertising agencies.


Strong experience in selling across events and print, conferences, digital display, video production, social media platforms is an advantage, as is the proven ability to drive growth through new audience & revenue channels, and being key in sponsorship sales functions within the team.


The right candidate will display an excellent understanding of the return on investment and successful sponsorship and be able to conceptualise and tailor events to provide optimal solutions for clients across multiple verticals, and most definitely be able to think outside its traditional parameters.


Strong negotiation and closing skills as well as the ability to work well under pressure and maintain efficiency and accuracy are key attributes.


Additionally, the right candidate will have experience in and demonstrate;


  • GCC media sales with a strong track record in events
  • Creative content solutions.
  • Management of a project, from concept to delivery
  • Strong client relationship skills
  • Brand and product extension & development

Requirements

5+ years international or GCC Media sales experience with extensive experience in major conferences, events.

Solid understanding of local and regional business trends and a contacts book packed with C-suite executives, officials and investors.

Interacting and communicating with government, private sector, and international industry organizations at highest level.

Conducting research to identify appropriate and senior level conference speakers.

Inviting and confirming appropriate speakers

Sponsorship and exhibition sales.

Great business acumen, as well as an understanding of the Gulf markets, are essential.
