Renewable Project Engineer

• Designing Solar PV system during feasibility, designing, construction & execution stages
  
• Preparing mechanical and electrical drawings required for the project.
  
• Must be able to work with teams cross-functionally as well as individually to deliver the objectives.
  
• Tender and Contract understanding.
  
• Participating in the tender process i.e. design, submission and review
  
• Assist the business development team with site surveys, site validation, and estimation.
  
• Identifying suppliers, vendors, and sub-contractors and participating in their evaluation.
  
• Participating in internal and external team meetings for successful delivery and execution of the project.
  
• Liaising with DEWA, DM, Trakhees, DDA, Client and any & all authorities and stakeholders.
  
• Preparing design packages for tendering, feasibility, DEWA submittal, and applicable Authority approval.
  
• Preparing and providing full-scope BOQ/BOM.
  
• Preparing As-Built drawing based on site information.
  
• Evaluating project execution quality.
  
• Formulating Hand Over documents to the O&M team and the client.
  

Requirements

• Software: AutoCAD, PVsyst, HelioScope, Sketchup.
  
• A minimum of 3 years of experience working at the site on Solar PV projects with proven track records.
  
• Bachelors of Engineering Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or equivalent.
  
• Professional proficiency in the English language. Arabic is a plus.
  
• Professional proficiency in MS Office.
  
• Add-on: DEWA Solar Engineer Certificate, DM Engineer Certificate, Society of Engineer registration.
  
• Based in Dubai with valid UAE Driving License is a must.
  
• Hybrid solar experience is plus
  
• Off-grid solar experience is a plus.
