Venture Debt Investment Professional ( IP )

We are looking for passionate candidates who can demonstrate deep knowledge of the startup and investment ecosystem and are comfortable holding conversations with founders and senior management of companies, conducting due diligence, drafting investment proposals, and creating quality materials for presentation & reporting. Our ideal candidates have demonstrated passion for technology and investing, can quickly form strong informed opinions on business models, are adept at financial analysis, and can fluently navigate legal agreements. They possess strong project management, critical thinking, time management, and communication skills. Finally, they take full ownership of the tasks assigned to them.

Specific responsibilities for the IPs include the following:

• Assess and curate investment opportunities through frequent discussions with company founders and management
  

• Analyze financial statements, business KPIs, and budgets to create detailed financial models
  

• Support financial, commercial and legal due diligence, reviewing any relevant data, analysis or legal documents in the process, and present informed recommendations on the basis of such analyses
  

• Frequently touch base with portfolio companies to cultivate relationship and stay updated on business developments
  

• Create and update transaction documents, Investment Committee decks, and reporting materials for LPs
  

Requirements

• Bachelor s Degree from a top-tier international academic institution
  
• Advanced degrees such as an MBA or professional qualifications such as a CFA or a CPA are a plus
  
• Minimum 2 years of experience in VC/PE, investment banking, management consulting, or technology company
  
• Complete fluency in spoken and written English. Fluency in Korean or Arabic is a plus
  
• Full competency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
