Specialist Radiologist

Our client, a premier medical facility, is currently looking for a Specialist Radiologist with extensive experience in Musculoskeletal cases, to be based in Abu Dhabi. For this role, you will have the following responsibilities:

• Reviewing and interpreting medical images to determine patient status and future medical care
• Diagnosis of traumatic, degenerative, and metabolic bone and joint disorders, as well as tumors of the bones and soft tissues.
• Primarily using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and standard X-rays, musculoskeletal radiologists identify subtle derangements of bones, ligaments, muscles and cartilage, aiding orthopedic surgeons in the approach and management of these patients conditions.
• Determining the exact images required for diagnosis and delivering orders to Radiological Technicians
• Administering trace amounts of radioactive substances to create and enhance diagnostic images
• Performing minimally invasive surgical techniques such as embolization, angioplasty and ablation with image guidance
• Working with Primary Care Doctors, Nurses and Radiology Technicians to administer treatment and manage pain
• Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary
• Creating a radiation treatment plan for patients with cancer
• Managing radiation side effects in cancer patients

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you need to meet the following criteria:

• MBBS or equivalent qualification AND completion of high qualification (Specialty Diploma, Fellowship, PHD, European Board, American, Canadian, German, Irish & UK Board)
• Experience not less than 7 years, 5 years after the high qualification will get Specialist level license.
• With valid BLS license
• Eligible to work in Abu Dhabi; having HAAD/DHA or other license may be considered as long it can be transferred to DOH/HAAD
• Willing to work in Abu Dhabi
