Production Manager - Joinery/ Fit Out

Black & Grey HR is recruiting for one of the largestinterior fit-out and joinery companiesin the UAE. Our client is looking for a Production Manager - Joinery who will be responsible for the technical management, supervision and control of production to ensure manufacturing processes run effectively and efficiently.

-Managing all production activities as a Production Manager

-Ensuring that all production equipment are in operating condition

-Oversee the production processes and coordinate all activities to ensure enough resources on hand and workflow meets the required deadlines.

-Responsible for allocating labour resources, tracking production schedules and cost adjustments to ensure production runs smoothly.

-Managing a large team of staff, primarily carpenters, engineers in the manufacturing process

-Responsible for leading the whole production process of interior / joinery projects for customers

-Regular meetings with the customers & stakeholders on the projects

-Responsible for taking a design order process through to completion

-Coordinating with all shop drawings, generating cutting lists and implementing quality control

-Liaises with Design, Procurement and Projects coordinators

-Production planning, scheduling, quality assurance and Health & Safety

-Planning production schedules to ensure completion of the project in a timely manner

-Preparing production status reports to senior management.

-Management of a pricing / budget & project P&L

-Recruitment, training and motivation of a large team

-Maximizes company s use of assets towards project completion.

-Evaluating workers performance as per ISO requirements

-To follow the company s policy and procedure

Requirements

-Minimum of 10+ years similar experience in the Management of joinery / manufacturing industry specializing in Fit Out

-Degree in Engineering or equivalent

-Relevant exposure on managerial level within a corporate environment.

-Broad knowledge of manufacturing and production processes and concepts.

-Must have strong communication and Software skills

-Great understanding of design drawings

-Leadership skills managing a team

-Hands on experience in financial management, budgeting & planning

-Must be able to cater the clients requirements by providing a technical solution in the pre-sales process with the team.
