Section Head- Cyber Security Engineering

• Leadership in the development of the offices strategic objectives and plans in line with the strategy, vision and mission at the level of the authoritys system as a whole
  
• Overseeing the implementation and achievement of the departments strategic objectives and objectives
  
• Directing the preparation, allocation and use of the sections budget and the exercise of expenditure control when needed
  
• Review all periodic swearing reports and provide recommendations and guidance when needed to enhance swearing
  
• Monitoring key performance indicators for the departments operations and staff and recommending improvements in line with strategic objectives at the level of the Authoritys system as a whole
  
• Take responsibility for shaping the departments workforce by determining the level of staff availability required and the ability to achieve the departments strategic objectives and plans
  
• Provide professional development support by providing effective feedback and evaluating the performance of department staff
  
• Support efforts in aspects of cooperation, innovation, innovative thinking, and improved department-level processes
  

• Overseeing the development and maintenance of digital security and recovery response methods and mechanisms for various incident and event classifications in line with the requirements of the Security Operations Management Center
  
• Managing the maintenance and modernization of the structural plans of the Security Operations Centre, ensuring compliance with leading practices and the requirements of the Company
  
• Overseeing the management of the equipment of the Security Operations Management Center to ensure that it is equipped with the required tools and technologies (hardware and software) to carry out the best digital security operations
  
• Leading the technical updates required by the Security Operations Management Center to reduce any disruption to the security measures applied
  
• Manage the development of the required IT environments to be used by the digital security team and provide access to different environments in coordination with stakeholders at the AUTHORITY level
  
• Managing the integration and placement of IT environments from different sources in the Security Operations Management Centre as needed
  
• Overseeing the management of the comprehensive security incident management platform and events used by the Security Operations Management Center to ensure the effectiveness of practices at all times
  
• Leading the collaboration with the Security Operations Management Center team to develop the solutions required to address the unique threats faced by the government community in Abu Dhabi
  
• Ensure that policies and procedures related to digital security engineering are aligned and implemented within management activities
  
• Perform any duties or career activities appointed by the direct manager
  

• Managing and monitoring operations in line with the departments governance framework, policies and procedures
  
• Ensure that the Department complies with Company risk management guidelines and quality management standards
  
• Prepare the required reports according to the reporting requirements internally for the section within the Authority, and externally when needed
  
• Leading and supervising change management initiatives within the department
  
• Identify and meet all the technical needs of the department using the best solutions and ensure the effective performance of the departments functions in a cost-effective manner
  
• Study the adoption of innovative ideas and solutions and push them towards overcoming challenges and promoting activities based on functional requirements
  
• Identify and search for professional development opportunities to proactively improve the technical capabilities and skills related to the offices functional requirements
  

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in computer science, complaint security, IT or any relevant field with at least one specialized certificate (e.g. SIEM, CSOCA , COMPTIA Sec. or CCNP, etc.)
  

• Experience in digital security, IT security, network security, incident handling or any related area at least:
  
• Years of experience for bachelors degree campaign: 6 to 8 years
