Electrical Technician with UAE driving license

• Carries out routine preventive maintenance of static and mobile electrical/electronic equipmentincluding LV/MV/HV Electrical Panels, Aviation Fueling systems, Electrical Motors-Pumps,Compressors, Generators and HVAC systems at airport depots, Fire Detection/ Alarm Control Systems,process instruments such as Level/ Flow/ Pressure and Temperature, Process Automation/ SCADA/PLC as assigned per monthly schedules and according to company procedures, and records inaccordance with laid down procedures.
  
• Carries out all electrical / electronic modification work as directed by his supervisors, and as perstandards of work and safety without direct supervision.
  
• Tests electrical/electronic systems, equipment and installations after repair for satisfactory operations.
  
• Traces out and rectifies faults by following the circuit diagrams and equipment drawings/manuals.
  
• Ensures all safety precautions are taken before and during execution of electrical works. Maintains allsafety equipment.
  
• Visits all airports depots (ADIA and other) and carries out periodic checks on all mobile and staticelectrical systems, equipment and installations. Reports and attends faults, carries out any necessaryrepair and maintenance works, and records accordingly on standards forms.
  
• Prepares store requisitions as per catalogues, part list, etc.
  
• Retaining & Maintaining all documents/checklists for scheduled tasks as per aviation retention policy
  
• Attends all assigned breakdowns promptly, carries out necessary repair works and ensures thatequipment is returned to service as soon as possible. Ensures all safety precautions are taken.
  
• Ensures the safety instructions are rigidly adhered to during all stages of the work in a hazardous area (safety checks).
  
• Works in 24X7 Shift Cycle as required.
  
• Carries out all electrical/electronic modification work as directed by his supervisors and as per safetyprocedures.
  
• Prepares reports of work done and problems observed during his visits to other remote area aviationdepots.
  
• Operates and updates records in computer based maintenance program system for Aviation equipmentand facilities as per instructions. Ensures all maintenance is recorded as per company procedures.
  
• Operates Inventory management System and computer-based maintenance program, up to his limitsof authority in the computer system.
  
• Ensures that all jobs to be carried out under approved PTW and should comply with companies HSErules.
  

Requirements

• Higher Diploma in Electrical
  

• 5-8 years of experience in similar role
  
• Oil and Gas or Aviation experience mandatory
  
• Fluent in English mandatory
• UAE light vehicle license mandatory
  
• Candidates must be locally available
