Our client, a well-established and renowned corporation within the airline tech sector, is expanding its team and is looking to hire for the role of IT Senior Architect.NET for their Dubai-based office.
Job Summary:
You will be responsible for ensuring structural integrity and scalability of .NET-based applications, the company website, and the booking engine. These applications could be developed in-house, or by our development partners. The resource will also be responsible for technical production support and troubleshooting of production issues at a technical level.
Key Responsibilities to include:
- Guide development partners in the design phase of system building, ensuring the application build is highly performing and scalable
- Ensure adherence to design patterns and best practices for in-house development as well as work done by development partners
- Manage a team of four to six Web developers, and guide them in in-house application development
- Develop frameworks for internal use, including Enterprise-wide use of web services and reusable components
- Ensure adequate tools and practices are established to support the high availability of production systems
- Ensure there is proper documentation and in-house knowledge of the website functionality and business flows, which aid in the troubleshooting of technical production issues
- Manage application/software upgrades/downtime
Requirements
Minimum Qualification:BE/ BTech/ MCA
Experience:
- 10 to 12 yrs of experience in designing and developing .NET based systems
- 6 to 8 yrs of experience in working on travel Booking Engines Knowledge / Skills
- Skilled in .NET Technologies
- Skilled in design reviews CORE COMPETENCIES
- Ability to guide a team of designers/developers in supporting and maintaining the travel website/booking engine
- Ability to convert requirements into application design using design frameworks and best practices
- Ability to work with vendors, perform design reviews and ensure applications developed are best of breed
- Experience in troubleshooting production issues including Payment Related Issues, Reservation Related Issues
- Experience in design/ development of high performing websites
- Ability to lead the design team composed of other designers and developers and churn out high-quality applications using the latest technologies
- Ability in understanding standard functionality and technical structure of booking websites/booking engine
Benefits
Salary being offered up to AED 25,000 + education allowance + other benefits
