Nursing Director

Job Description :
responsible to the C.N.O. for planning organisation and development of nursing services in the hospital in consultation with Medical Supdt./Chief of centers.Nursing superintendent is a term used in some organizations for a nursing supervisor or director of nursing.

Responsibilities :
1. participate in the formulation of the philosophy of the hospital specific to the nursing services.
2. formulate goals and objctives and participate in formation of policies of the nursing services of the concern hospital.
3. implement hospital policies and rules for better health services to the patients.
4. make plan for placement of nursing staff including sister-in-charge, staff nurse, students in different units, their rotation plan, and maintain a satisfactory schedule.
5. review the census and daily reports of hospital and report to the higher authority accordingly.

Qualification :
1. Complete a bachelor of nursing or associate degree in nursing program
2. Apply for a master of science in nursing program
3. Nursing leaders will always be in demand and require a host of knowledge, experience, and unique skill sets
