Project Manager

Quant is a prominent consultancy that provides services and products in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Business Intelligence. We aim to empower aspiring businesses and dynamic governments to become data-driven, allowing them to optimize operations, enhance efficiency and augment decision making.

We are looking for a capable and experienced Project Manager to handle all aspects of project affairs, this candidate is expected to establish and manage scopes of work that will clearly identify accurate and realistic timelines and be able to account for potential risks. This candidate is also expected to be capable of managing project resources and have efficient communication skills.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Participate in the allocation of budget, staff, and any other resource(s) that are needed to accomplish or achieve set out projects.

2. Manage, direct, support, and control all aspects of data science projects both internally and externally and ensure proper delivery within the identified timeframe, quality standards, cost, and scope of work.

3. Create required project documents, including project plans, progress reports, change requests, corrective action documents, and any supporting documents for Quant and its clients.

4. Manage project risks, including the development of contingency plans.

5. Responsible for following up on instructions and commitments associated with the project.

6. Liaise with third parties and communicating with project stakeholders to ensure proper engagement from all parties involved.

7. Work with other managers and function leads to developing budgets, schedules, and plans for a project's various elements.

8. Negotiate necessary changes to the scope of work, project price, and time with the client, key subcontractors, and project team.

9. Assign responsibility for executing project plans to subordinates after careful assessment of how to utilize their qualifications and strengths.

10. Establish and facilitate weekly meetings both with the project team and clients to review project status and create action items.

11. Develop and ensure the quality of project management policies, tools, and systems and reinforces organization standards.

12. Conduct project evaluation reviews and return on investment analysis to assess and document project outcomes.

13. Periodically reporting the performance of the projects with the senior management and ensuring alignment of the company’s key targets with the performance of the Data Science Department.

14. Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

Requirements

Academic Prerequisites:

Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Management Information System, Industrial Engineering, business administration, or similar majors.

Business Skills Required:

1. Theoretical and/or practical project management knowledge.

2. Project management professional (PMP), PRINCE2, Scrum Master or similar certificate.

3. Knowledge and/or experience of project management techniques, tools, and software.

4. Experience or knowledge in strategic planning, project planning, risk management, and change management.

5. Prior exposure in the field of Data Science, AI, and Business Intelligence.

6. Proficiency in English and Arabic, including speaking, writing, and reading.

Company Preferences:

1. Exposure to Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Business Intelligence.

2. Has domain knowledge in particular domains (i.e. telecommunication, oil, and energy, healthcare, etc.).

3. Can handle large workloads.

4. Saudi nationality.

The Company offers a comprehensive employee benefits program, including:

Leaves & Holidays Policy

• Annual Leave: 22 business days of paid Annual Leave per contract year.

• Holidays: 11 business days of paid Holidays inclusive of Eid Al Fitr, Eid Al Adha, and Saudi National Day.

• Compassionate Leave: Paid Compassionate Leave of seven 7 calendar days, in the event of death of employee’s parent, spouse, or child.

• Sick Leave: Properly documented sick leave with full pay for up to 30 calendar days; and an additional 60 calendar days at 75% of salary, during each year of service.

• Business Leave and Travel Allowances: Business leave and Travel Allowances shall be provided in accordance with existing policies of the Company.

Housing Allowance

Employees who do not receive housing by the Company receive a Housing Allowance of 25% of the employee's basic salary.

Transportation Allowance

Employees who do not receive transportation means by the Company receive a Transportation Allowance of 15% of the employee's basic salary.

Communication Allowance

Employees who do not receive communication means by the Company receive a Communication Allowance of 10% of the employee's basic salary.

Medical Insurance

The Company provides a standardized medical insurance plan as per Company policy. Further information regarding the policy may be provided upon request. Provided policies may change upon vendor’s change in their policy plan structures.
