Ability to handle GL functions smoothly which includes the following:GL data entry, Accounts analysis,VAT preparation & Reconciliation.
Required Education/certification:-
- An earned Bachelor/ Master degree from a reputable university in Finance/ or Accounting
- SOCBA Membership is a must.
Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Experience handling administrative duties efficiently and effectively.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Commitment to working with and encouraging diversity.
- Effective interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of Accounting Software.
- Proficient Knowledge of MS office.
Required Languages:- Arabic and English
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- General ledger supervision; maintain ledgers and sub ledgers and booking of monthly provisionsincluding prepaid adjustment if any
- Payroll verification: Verification of completeness & correctness of all supporting documentsprovided by HR Department regarding payroll
- Intercompany reconciliation; Reconciliation of BMC with MEAHCO and all other subsidiaries
- Cash Flow statement preparation: Export Cash Ledger from ORACLE and reconcile it with cash
- Supervisor and record in the relevant area of cash flow statement
- Air ticketing verification: Verification of completeness & correctness of all supportingdocuments provided by HR Department regarding Air Ticketing.
- Employee health insurance verification:
- Verify the correctness of Gratuity computation
- VAT return preparation: Categories Input VAT as Standard Rate Purchase, Zero Rate, out of
- Scope or VAT Exempt Purchases and verification of Output invoices
- Employee final settlement verification
- Carrying out other duties as per the requirement
